Mum  (2023) acrylic on canvas 50cm x 100cm 

This painting is called Mum and is a painting of my mother in law - she was born around the same time as The late Queen Elizabeth second and died  2 years before - I began the composition way before Queen Elizabeth died. I have them sharing a crown because Mum was and is still in our hearts our Queen x

Everyone loved her and called her “Mum” in Liverpool were she was a big part of the community for whom she worked. Our family still live there and all work for the community in one way or another.
